We are looking for individuals who are interested in assisting individuals with disabilities, individuals who are aging and/ or individuals who have a mental illness as they strive to connect to their interests within the community and maintain their independence at home.
The position requires flexibility as the schedules would be determined by the needs of the individuals.

Experience:
Graduation from high school or GED equivalency is preferred.
One (1) year of work experience, preferably working with individuals with disabilities, aging and/or vocational rehab preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record will be required when a license is required.
Must pass a Caregiver Background Check.
First Aid training, and CPR Certificate (when required) preferred but may be required to obtain after hire.
TRAVEL:
Daily travel may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
